Overview
Aqara Life is a mobile app designed for end users within the Aqara Studio product ecosystem, primarily households and DIY users. Its core purpose is to deliver preconfigured space solutions, device capabilities, and intelligent services through a lightweight and intuitive experience. Users can control devices, activate scenes, and interact with their spaces through an intuitive UI or the AI Agent.
Aqara Space will subsequently be introduced for users such as operations personnel in commercial real estate projects and installers responsible for deployment and maintenance.
Aqara Life's Role in the Studio Ecosystem
Under the current usage model, users need an edge hub that supports Aqara Studio. The Studio must first be connected to the cloud and linked to the user's account on the platform. After signing in to Aqara Life, users can select a linked Studio and access its space for everyday use. Future releases are planned to support adding a new Studio directly in the app, creating a more complete end-to-end experience.
Advanced space configuration is primarily completed in Aqara Builder or on the Studio platform. Aqara Life focuses on operating the space, using devices and scenes, receiving information, and enabling intelligent interactions for end users.

End-User Usage Models
Aqara Life primarily supports two usage models:
- A service provider designs, configures, and deploys the Studio space solution, after which the property owner and household members use Aqara Life for everyday control and space management.
- Users purchase a Studio-capable hub or hardware device themselves, configure the space on the platform, and then use Aqara Life.
For users who already use Aqara Home, existing devices may be migrated to Aqara Life by pairing them with Studio again, subject to actual product support. However, we recommend waiting until Aqara Home data migration is supported. At this stage, Aqara Life is better suited to new users.
